General Terms and Conditions

Astoria Loft Elite Apartment – Private Accommodation

With particular reference to Act CLXIV of 2005, Act V of 2013, the Hungarian Civil Code, and Directive 2011/83/EU
1. Prices and Services
The prices and services indicated on the apartment’s website and intermediary platforms (e.g., Airbnb) are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a binding offer under the Hungarian Civil Code. The price and service package confirmed at the time of booking shall prevail and form part of the contract between the parties.
The host reserves the right to modify the service conditions in cases of force majeure (unavoidable external events such as natural disasters or public health restrictions). Any such changes must be communicated to the guest in writing without delay.
2. Cancellation Policy and Refund Regulations
The guest has the right to cancel the reservation at any time without providing a reason prior to arrival. Cancellations must be made in writing by sending an email to: engimarianna@gmail.com. The time of cancellation is determined by the time the email is received.
If the guest cancels the reservation at least 5 days before the scheduled arrival date, the full amount paid for the accommodation will be refunded.
In case of cancellation within 4 days prior to arrival or in the event of a no-show, the host is entitled to retain the full accommodation fee.
In exceptional cases, the host may waive the cancellation fee if the reason for cancellation is one of the following:
• Death of a close relative
• Serious illness requiring hospitalization of the guest or a close relative
• Military draft
• Natural disaster or other force majeure events
The guest is required to notify the host in writing within 3 days and provide official documentation supporting the exceptional circumstance.
Non-Refundable Bookings
The total price will be charged if the guest cancels the reservation at any time.
Modification and Cancellation Exceptions
Date Modification for Non-Refundable Bookings:
Guests may independently modify the booking dates:
• Once per reservation, at least 5 days before check-in
• At the same or higher rate as the original booking
Cancellation Fee Waivers:
Grace Period:
No cancellation fee applies if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours of booking.
Early Cancellation:
No cancellation fee applies if the reservation is cancelled at least 12 weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date.
3. Reservation Administration
The administration of bookings is carried out by the host through an IT partner using a third-party software service provider.
4. Contract Formation and Validity
A contract for accommodation services is concluded between the host and the guest upon booking confirmation. These General Terms and Conditions shall govern the contract. They form an inseparable part of the booking confirmation (voucher), and by finalizing the booking, the guest acknowledges and accepts these terms.
The host reserves the right to unilaterally amend these General Terms and Conditions. Such amendments shall not affect the content of already concluded contracts.
